I've been having issues with my laptop's Wi-Fi adapter. Last night, my dog kicked the laptop off the side of my bed. Now I have no issues connecting to the internet, but the laptop fans are making slight crunching noises.

That is terrible! I had a situation like that and then I ended up having to send it in to get repaired... it was a Toshiba as I recall

Sorry you had to go through that! The crunching seems to be subsiding, thankfully, so I'm thinking it was just a part that clicked back into place. Maybe. Hopefully.

Well that's a bad good dog. >_< As my wife is currently bent over her open laptop to remove accumulated fur, you could always try to open it up for a peek... ack. Sorry.

If that isn't my life in one sentence, I don't know what is. I don't even have a large or particularly hairy dog, and fur gets everywhere. I hope your wife was able to sort it out. And thank you!

The clicking seems to have subsided, so maybe it's good luck and not a fire hazard in the making? Maybe? Hopefully? (And thank you!)
