I've been having issues with my laptop's Wi-Fi adapter. Last night, my dog kicked the laptop off the side of my bed. Now I have no issues connecting to the internet, but the laptop fans are making slight crunching noises.

That is terrible! I had a situation like that and then I ended up having to send it in to get repaired... it was a Toshiba as I recall

Sorry you had to go through that! The crunching seems to be subsiding, thankfully, so I'm thinking it was just a part that clicked back into place. Maybe. Hopefully.
